• What is the Status Match campaign?

    The Status MAtch LATAM Pass Campaign consists in that StatusMatch.com, in alliance with LATAM Pass, offers members enrolled in the LATAM Pass Program who have a status in a frequent flyer program with another airline the option, upon payment of a fee, to request the match of said category by an equivalent one in the LATAM Pass program, according to the terms and conditions of the Campaign. The participant can send their request to https://latam.statusmatch.com


  • What airline status is eligible?

    Elite status from from the airlines in the table below are included. This is not an exhaustive list as other global airlines may be accepted upon application - refer to the table below for the full list.


  • Do I have to be a LATAM Pass member to participate in the campaign?

    Yes, a LATAM Pass membership number is required to participate in the campaign. You can enroll in the LATAM Pass program here.


  • What LATAM Pass frequent flyer status can I obtain through the campaign?

    Approved participants will receive the equivalent status they have with one of the frequent flyer programs of the airlines that apply according to the geographic condition reported (excluding the Black Signature category).

  • How long is status valid for if my status match request is approved?

    If your request is approved, you will receive the corresponding frequent flyer status in the LATAM Pass program within six (6) business days, valid until 03/31/2025.


  • I have Elite status with another airline that does not operate within the reported region, can I participate in the campaign?

    No, only members of the airlines operating in the informed region can participate in the campaign and submit an application.


  • When does the LATAM Pass status match campaign end?

    LATAMPass and StatusMatch.com reserve the right to end or amend the campaign at any time.


  • What information do I need to participate in the status match campaign?

    To participate in the campaign, you need your LATAM Pass member number, your number/status card of the airline that applies according to the geographical condition reported, or your verification voucher, and also a valid email address where we can communicate with you.

    During the registration process, we will also ask you for proof of your frequent flyer status (for example, a photo of your card).

  • I have an Elite status with a hotel program, can I participate in the campaign with this status?

    No. This status match promotion is only offered to Elite status holders of airlines operating within the listed geographic zone.


  • How soon will I have my new LATAM Pass frequent flyer status?

    You will be informed within three (3) business days following your submission of the requested information and documentation, whether or not your status match has been approved. Once approved, it may take up to six (6) business days for your frequent flyer status to be updated in your LATAM Pass member account.

    After updating your frequent flyer status, you will receive an email from LATAM Pass with information on how to make the most of your new frequent flyer status.

    Download the LATAM app to access your digital service card that shows your Elite status. LATAM Pass will not send any physical service card.


  • Is there a soft-landing on status tier for customers who match?

    Members that requalify will retain their status tier in 2025. Members that don't will be downgraded to the status level that matches their activity level in the LatamPass program.


  • What benefits and privileges do the LATAM Pass frequent flyer status categories offer?

  • What happens if my application is not approved?

    If your request is not approved, you will be notified by email from StatusMatch.com within three (3) business days after we receive your request.
